Classroom News - Year 4

Mrs Ross and Mr Norrie

What a Year 2020 was!

Congratulations to every student in Year 4 this year, you have made so much progress and both Mrs Ross and Mr Norrie are proud of each and every one of you.

A long side every student in Year 4 this year they have also been up lifted and helped by so many people behind the scenes, Mrs Ross and Mr Norrie want to thank all parents, grand parents, siblings, aunts and uncles and carers for their efforts this year. Your time and effort has been greatly appreciated.

On Thursday the 10th Year 4 spent time with a scientist from the UNE Discovery Bus, who taught us all about the parts of the brain and the different things that our brains control. Year 4 saw their heart rates climb and fall based on their movements and got to check out some of the brain waves from Mr Norrie and some of their peers.

To finish the year, Year 4 has enjoyed a number of exciting Christmas activities. As I'm sure many have enjoyed the glitter that has come with the Christmas trees, the Christmas wreaths and other delights brought home recently.

Year 4 spent the last morning of school in their Year 5 classrooms for 2021 which from our point of view was a little sad because the morning was a huge success and the kids can't wait to get out of their Year 4 classrooms.

The final assembly was a hit and both Year 4 classes were so excited to finally perform their carols in front of an audience, well done to everyone and thank you to Ms McNeall for all your efforts throughout the year. Congratulations to all award recipients.

We wish everyone a very merry and fruitful Christmas period and a happy New Year!
