OurSchools Alumni Program

Audrey Powne, MGC class of 2007, singer, songwriter & musician, joined the Arts Captains for their second performing arts alumni pathway session on Thursday the 29th of October during lunch.  Whether she is traveling the world performing with The Teskey Brothers, teaching instrumental music in New York City, or writing and releasing her own jazz/soul creations, she helps carry the legacy of the importance of the performing arts at MGC. 

Success comes in all forms, and MGC has a broad range of alumnae who have set goals on many different paths – Audrey chose the performing arts and has made her way around the world doing what she loves most. She remembers the teachers who helped her to pursue her interests, the friends she made at MGC that she is still in touch with to this day,  and the importance of figuring out what you enjoy most in life.
