~1 cup of plain flour

~1 cup of desiccated coconut

~1 cup of rolled oats

~1/2 cup of caster sugar

~1/4 cup of brown sugar

~125g butter

~2 tablespoon golden syrup

~1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Place the flour, coconut, rolled oats and combined sugar in a large bowl and stir with a wooden spoon to combine.

2. Place the butter and golden syrup in a small saucepan over low heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 mins or until butter is melted. Set aside for 5 mins to cool slightly.

3. Combine 1 1/2 tbs boiling water and the bicarbonate of soda in a small bowl.

4. Roll about a tablespoon of the mixture into balls and place on the lined trays. Making sure that they aren’t too close. Gently press each ball to flatten slightly.

Bake for 15 mins for crisp biscuits.

5. Set aside on the trays to completely cool. The biscuits will harden as they cool. That is how you make Anzac Biscuits!!

~How I went with making the Anzac Biscuits~ ~Review~

I found this recipe a 10 out of 10 because it was very easy to make and they tasted amazing. These were a family favourite & I will 100% make these Anzac Biscuits again.

They were super crispy & were baked perfectly.  With the size of my Anzac’s I made

about 18-20, but it all depends on how

big you want your Anzac’s!
