Middle School Report

The Year 9 and 10 students are now coming towards the last few weeks of their school year, and semester exams and tests will be taken over the next few weeks. Following the test and exam periods, Year 10 students will begin VCE and VCAL orientation classes, and Year 9 will complete three days of step up classes to introduce them to the curriculum for their studies in 2021.

Students have settled back into classes very well, and we have been impressed by how motivated they remain to sustain their learning in spite of the challenges this year has given them. Year Level Coordinators have met with all students to check in with them about their return to school, what they are most looking forward to, and what supports they may need over the coming weeks.

Mr. McFarland ran forums on Monday 9 November and Wednesday 18 September, where students shared their experiences of online learning and what they would like to see continued for the remainder of the year in terms of actions and further support. Thank you to all those who took part and for their comments and ideas.

We wish all Year 9 and 10 students all the best for their upcoming tests and exams.
