Year 12 LOTE students perform at ORAL Examinations

Congratulations to our St Albans LOTE students who were the first to experience their VCE exams in 2020.

LOTE students of Italian, Japanese Vietnamese and French have completed their Oral examinations and represented the school with pride.

On Monday 12 October, 18 students studying Japanese made their way to Essendon Apartments in order to complete their oral examinations. Despite the challenges of remote learning, they worked tirelessly to review their responses on the impact of technology on teenagers in Australia and Japan and participated in mock oral exams. All of their efforts were rewarded, as they all responded fluently in Japanese and felt the 15 minutes go by in a flash.

On Monday 19 October, seven students of Vietnamese also attended the Essendon Apartments and completed exams.

On Tuesday 20 October, 23 Italian students attended the Coburg Language centre and responded very well on the topic of Italian Immigration and themselves as language learners.

Five French students then attended the Essendon Apartments on Thursday 22 October, responding to the topic of the occupation of France during the second world war.

We are all incredibly proud of their efforts and wish them the very best for their results.
