Australian Dental Health Victoria (ADHV) is an Independent Initiative providing all school students dental treatment beyond the Medicare eligibility criteria, meaning all students are able to participate. ADHV is an independent, stand-alone company that can see both non-eligible children alongside those who are eligible. The organisation runs on its own accord to ensure all children across the board are receiving vital treatment. Permission forms will be sent home with your child; if you would like your child to attend the Dental Van please return the completed forms to the office. Thank you.
We are excited to be part of the Inform & Empower digital safety & wellbeing program again this year! This means that your child/children will be tuning in to live streamed incursions (with their teachers) every term that focus on healthy and safe digital habits. The incursion content is all written and delivered by qualified teachers who are endorsed by the eSafety Commissioner as a Trusted eSafety Provider. These sessions aim to help children better navigate the online world and become more aware, clever, brave and kind. They will focus on topics including navigating unwanted contact, cyberbullying, help-seeking strategies, unsafe content, balancing screen time with "green time" and sharing personal information. While Foundation (Kinder/Prep) students do not participate in live streamed sessions, they will be exploring the basics of the online world through guided activities.
The Life Ed Program is an empowering program promoting physical, social and emotional health and wellbeing. Our Grade 3-6 will participate in the modules listed below on 20th -21st February.
