Interschool Sport Term 1 

Hola familia de Newlands, 

Our students in Year 4, 5 and 6 will be participating in bat tennis, basketball and softball in Interschool Sport Competition (Coburg District) during Term 1. There will be two teams for each sport: Boys/Mixed and Girls. 

This week, trials for each sport have taken place during recess. The number of players representing each team will be the following: 

Bat Tennis:

• Coach: Kylee
• Boys/Mixed team: 10 players 
• Girls team: 10 players

Basketball 

• Coach: Lisa 
• Boys/Mixed team: 7 players
• Girls team: 7 players

Softball: 

• Coach: Jose
• Boys/Mixed team: 10 players 
• Girls team: 10 players

Next Monday morning, successful students will find out which team they will play in and I will reach out to families for payment.
