Uniform Shop - Farewell Denise Chapman

Well….......we have been very busy at the Uniform Shop putting all the 2023 Kindy orders together.

I want to let you know this is my last year at Eglinton. I took over running the clothing pool which was just second hand clothes about 16 years ago now and gradually built it up to our lovely uniform shop that it is today. I know whoever our P and C get to run it next will love it just as much as I have.

I would like to say a very big thank you to YOU - the school community for supporting the P and C Uniform shop. The school staff/teachers for always supporting us and forever encouraging the wonderful students in wearing our uniform proudly. The school office ladies who have always supported me and thankfully help when parents pick up uniform who cannot make it on Mondays. And the wonderful Principals over the years who have supported us and been amazing. The EPS P & C who have supported and helped me. Our school community for all your wonderful donations of pre-loved clothes. This has helped it to be a shop with new clothing but second hand option is there too. And a HUGE thank you to all the wonderful parents and grandparents who have volunteered. Your help is priceless!!

All of you have been wonderful and I thank you all. A special mention to a grandparent, Bev Johnson, who helped me for many, many years and Annette Taylor who I have missed in more recent times - she helped keep me organised! I have the pleasure now of so many past volunteers I now call friends - like the wonderful Amanda Lewis (our canteen lady) and so many others over the years too. Thank you!

22 years I’ve been involved with EPS. My 5 children have wonderful memories and so do I. I love this school and the people I’ve met along the way. So in closing, thanks again to all involved who have helped shaped our uniform shop. Students continue to wear your uniform proudly representing this wonderful school and thank you EPS for the memories. As always donations are always welcome, so go through your cupboards over the Christmas holidays. I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your holidays. All the best for 2023.
