News from the 3/4 Team...

Welcome to all of our Year 3 and 4 families!

Over the first two weeks of the school year, students have been settling into the classroom by participating in the following:

• Year 3/4 Start-Up Program
• Introduction to the 6+1 Writing Traits
• Setting up book boxes for reading and identifying what a 'just right' book is
• Measuring activities for Maths (measuring our body parts and the perimeter size of our names)
• Learning Assets introduction
• iPad set-up and e-Smart lessons

If you have any questions throughout the year, please contact your child's classroom teacher. We understand the importance of a partnership with parents and are keen to work collaboratively with you to achieve the best for your child. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the BPPS Open Classroom afternoon on Thursday 23rd February (3.45 - 5.45pm).
