Sustainability

Congratulations to our new Sustainability Leaders James M, James B and our new DRI leaders Pia, Elizabeth , Jack  and Hudson. I look forward to working with them over the coming year. Also our wonderful Year Five  Green Gang students who are the mechanics of the school and manage our recycling and compost every Friday. They have also brainstormed some wonderful ideas for our Friday lunch time Sustainability Club. All students in all year levels are always welcome to attend this.

It’s wonderful having all the children back at school and just a reminder that St Joseph’s is a Nude Food School. This means no single use plastics in your child’s lunch box.

We are a rubbish bin free school and our student are asked if the bring chip wrappers that they take them home.

Our year six leaders have the opportunity it’s to attend the Mornington Peninsula Environment Leadership Summit Thursday 9 March.
