Fete News

There is so much planning going on for our upcoming Community Fete on 25 March 2023.  We will send out reminders via Operoo throughout the next month or so but here are some important dates/info for everyone to remember:

Cash - please plan ahead and bring along that rare commodity of cash cash cash on the day.  Whilst there will be EFTPOS available, we don't have enough terminals for all stalls on the day so ask people to ensure they come cashed up and ready to spend.

Stalls - if you are keen to run a stall please contact Assunta on 0421 387 480 or assunta@beachshack67.com.au.  Stall details need to be locked in by Friday 24 February 2023.

Volunteers - we will need lots of people in many different ways on the day - whether it is running a stall for the day or just doing an hour on an activity it will all be a huge help to raise lots of money for our schools.  We will circulate a link for signup.com in the coming weeks or contact Assunta if you would like to be involved.

Wristband sales - there are so many fun activities planned for the kids - a glow in the dark silent disco in John Hannan Hall, giant inflatable challenges and games.... even a dunk a bucket of water on a teacher's head!  Or could it be slime....?  Wristbands are $25 if purchased before the event or $30 on the day and give you unlimited use of the activities.  Payment are to be made to your school office (cash only please) and wristbands will be handed out on the day of the event.

Donations Donations Donations - we would be very grateful if people can send in some donations for use in our stalls and activities.  Throughout the next month we will ask for donations of 2nd hand books, toys, clothes etc (jumble sale stall), wine (the lucky dip wine stall), small lucky dip items wrapped and ready to go, chocolate bars or blocks for the popular chocolate toss stall and baked goods for the Bake Stall.  

Please have a think about what you might be able to donate and keep an eye out for the Operoo notifications about drop off timings.
