Swim Squad

Congratulations to our 26 students who have been attending our Yr3-6 Swim Squad held at our shared Sorrento Pool on Tuesday mornings before school. Your dedication and devotion to swimming has been incredible to watch. I look forward to our next two sessions.

Please note- There has been a change next week. Swim Squad will now be held on Wednesday 22nd, just next week!

Intensive Swimming

Our intensive swimming program is well underway with only two more days to go. The school swimming program which we offer is designed to improve the swimming and water skills of all our students. This improvement in skills leads to confidence, enjoyment and most importantly safety in and around water. Our school programs not only incorporates safety skills but develops sound swimming techniques that are beneficial for a fit and healthy life. A big thank-you to all our students who have been incredible.

A very big thank-you to our swimming teachers Annabel (parent), Leonie (previous parent), Bill (Jenny Todd's Dad) Domenico (parent) and Kamica (LSO). We would not be able to run this program without your help, support and expertise.

Year 3-6 Swimming Carnival Friday 24th

On Friday 24th our 3-6 students will be transported to Yawa Aquatic Centre to participate in our Swimming Carnival. Our swimming carnival provides students with an opportunity to represent their house in both championship and novelty events. Championship events are for competitors who wish to progress to District and Regional level for swimming, and novelty events are about gaining points for their house.  Our carnival is designed to ensure students have fun, with maximum participation.

Tennis Trials and Tennis during P.E

This term our students have been focusing on Tennis during their P.E lesson. We have been extremely fortunate to have been able to purchase all new nets, racquets and balls.

During this time students have had the opportunity to play against each other and therefore our District Tennis competitors will be chosen from these sessions.
