Mr Whippy comes to St Brigid's - Sophie D

There was a lot of excitement on Friday when we heard the Mr Whippy music coming down the road.  It was a hard decision between, chocolate dip, vanilla and sprinkles.  Sprinkles was by far the best.  All the kids had lots of fun staying after school playing with their friends.

Thank you Mrs Sullivan for organising Mr Whippy as a special end of Term treat.

On Friday 1st April the softballers and the tennis players played in the Interschool finals. The softballers won their game. They won 14 to 9 and they played  Kingswood - they had a lot of fun. The tennis players lost their game 9 sets to 3 to Parkdale. Everyone who played were very good sportspeople.

Holy Week - Mrs Marziano

The middle weekend of the holidays is the most significant season in the Church calendar- Easter. As part of our learning, each level created an artistic reflection to one of the significant days using a song as the inspiration. The students artwork is displayed throughout the school and has been incorporated into a YouTube clip.

MESSAGE FROM MRS SULLIVAN

I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to all the students and families for such a wonderful term - we have settled back so well and it is just lovely to see how excited our children are to be back at school. Mind you it has been a long term and we have a few tired children and staff!

It was great to see so many of our families stay back and catch up with each other - the children were very excited with the Mr Whippy van! I enjoyed catching up and chatting with our parents and that is what St Brigid’s is all about - community. We are here for each other and seeing our families on Friday night certainly showed what a great community we are.

I wish you all a lovely holiday. If you are traveling stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all back at school on Wednesday 27th April. (Tuesday 26th is a school closure day - we are doing our First Aid Training)

Take care and stay safe.
