Athletic Achievers

Monday the 2nd May saw the Eureka District Athletics Carnival held at Llanberris Athletics Reserve and BSC were fortunate to have several students competing across the varied events.

Ella Kerr performed extremely well, placing first in all her sprint events and the Triple Jump, as did Easton Carr who placed first in Javelin, Long and Triple Jump. Meanwhile, Zac Dally brought it home for us in the Shotput while Tom Lyons put in an outstanding effort to take out the 1500m. Not to be forgotten was Cooper Cahill's impressive performance in the Discus, throwing a massive 29m to come in second.

Overall the students had a fantastic meet with Ella Kerr, Tom Lyons, Zac Dally and Easton Carr successfully progressing to the GWR Athletics Carnival. Well done everyone!
