2022 School Community Education Sessions

2022 School Community Education Sessions
At Glen Waverley Primary School, we strive to provide the best learning environment for your children, to ensure that learning is rigorous and exemplifies best practice. This is guided by point three on our school philosophy – “Everything we do is based on research and a whole school approach.” Building a community of learning is a vital part of this lofty goal and our School Community Education Sessions provide an avenue to support families to contribute to this community of learning. By deepening your understanding of the teaching and learning that happens at school, we can work collaboratively to improve the consistency of how we talk about and support learning both at school and at home. In 2022, we are thrilled to be able to welcome you all back into our school for these community learning experiences. Also, you will notice that we have included two community forums, which will give families an opportunity to contribute to some new initiatives our school is implementing as part of our new 5-year strategic plan.
Attached is the outline for our Community Education Sessions, we look forward to sharing how learning works at our school and collaborating to improve the learning outcomes of the children under our care.
