Easter Bonnet Parade – Friday 8th April

To celebrate Easter and the last day of term, there will be an Easter Bonnet Parade.  The children will parade their hats just after the morning bell.  This is a great opportunity for families to work together with your children and put together a creation, or just dust-off last years!  If you are short on inspiration, there are plenty of websites to help you out.  Here are just a few examples to assist you:

Anzac Day:

To commemorate ANZAC Day on Monday 25th April we will be selling the usual Poppy Merchandise at school throughout the last week of term next week - prices starting at $2.00 . All donations will go to the Highett RSL.

As well as this ANZAC Biscuits will be sold on Wednesday 27th April at recess and funds raised will be donated to our local Highett RSL.  Each bag will contain 2x biscuits and will be sold for $2.

The biscuits are traditionally baked by family & friends of St Agnes.  This year we require 2 bakers per class.  To help with the uniformity of the biscuits, we ask that you please use the recipe provided by your class rep to allow us to inform parents whose children have allergies.

If you are able to help bake a batch please let your class rep know ASAP.  They will then provide you with a copy of the recipe.  Biscuits will need to be delivered before school on the morning of Wednesday 27th April for distribution at recess.  We also require some volunteers to help bag the biscuits the morning of distribution, just after school drop off.

Mother’s Day Stall – Friday 29th April:

This year, the children will have the opportunity to purchase a gift for their mum or special someone at our Mother’s Day Stall to be held on Friday 29th April.  Gifts will range from $2 to $10; cards $1 (CASH ONLY).  Students will visit the stall in their class groups during the morning.
