Chaplain's Corner 2022
Welcome back everyone to term 2. Again I believe we are in for an interesting term with Covid still making an impact on us all. I have the feeling that we will all need to 'pace ourselves' as we go about our days and weeks to enable us all to look after ourselves and each other.
I had a lovely term break with plenty of beach, nature, friends, family and exercise and I am ready to get back into the term. Coming up this term for me:
- Breakfast club back up and running thank you to wonderful staff. We are also looking for volunteers to assist one morning a week from approximately 8am to 8.30am. If you would be interested please contact myself or Adrian
- Assisting Mrs Campbell with Kids Who Care training for some excited yr 5 students
- Small groups with some Pre primary to yr 2 students. We are working through some fun activities based around speaking, listening and friendships. The book I read this week as part of the activity was "My Mouth is a Volcano" by Julia Cook
- One on one support for students as required through Student Services team
- being active around the school as much as I can in different areas - playground, library and staffed areas and in general hopefully providing a bit of a smile and kindness each week during what are very interesting times.
It is a pleasure to work Monday and Fridays at Marangaroo and I am always interested in how better I can help so please feel free to contact me through message on Class Dojo or through the front office.
