Junior School

Year 1 & 2

Year One and Two students had a fantastic time on their excursion to Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead on Wednesday the 6th of April.  Students got to imagine and explore what life would have been like in the olden days (the late 19th century), by touring the pioneer homestead, a historic kitchen and chapel,  a blacksmith’s workshop and a vintage machinery shed. After lunch they thoroughly enjoyed participating in hands on activities such as making rope, using a pen and ink in the old school house and trying out a variety of old fashioned games.  Many thanks to the parent volunteers who accompanied us on the trip.
