The Poking What?

On Wednesday lunchtime, student rock band “The Poking Bugs” made the PA courtyard come alive with popular tunes that had student and staff toes tapping. 

Year 12 students Wil Hamilton, Jonte Breen and Oliver Scott provided the entertainment and lured many staff members out of their offices. 

The performance was prompted by fellow Year 12 student Oliver Davison, Tech Crew extraordinaire, who approached school management about providing more opportunities for the student Tech Crew to make up for lost time over the past two years in supporting live music theatrical acts. 

The Tech Crew set up efficiently and the sound was spot on, making The Poking Bugs sound their very best. We look forward to more opportunities for the student Tech Crew, supported by the Girton AV Technicians, to work their (sometimes unseen) magic to create more enjoyable moments in the Senior School.
