Junior School News
We are now on the home stretch with just over two weeks of school to go. Teachers are still finishing course work and there are many classes that are completing CATs and PAT tests. Students will soon clean out their locker and move to their new locker for 2021. We ask that any student who requires a top locker for medical reasons is in touch with their new Student Managers as soon as possible.
iPads
Since the return to school teachers have noticed that iPads are being using inappropriately during class time. I have asked teachers to monitor iPad use and confiscate iPads from students who aren't following teacher instructions. For students who are regular offenders, they will have their iPad confiscated for a whole day, or longer. Students have been made aware of this.
Reports
Online reports will be accessible on Friday 11 December through Compass.
Environment week
We are aware that some families take the opportunity to start their summer holidays early.
FromMonday 14 December to Thursday 17 December the school runs an alternative program. It runs from 9am to 3pm. Students complete different tasks for the first two sessions of the day and view a film in the last session.
Students who attend need to wear suitable casual clothes and footwear (thongs are not permitted) and must bring their own food as the canteen will be closed.
Some tasks could include gardening, Art and Technology room clean up, removing old and adding new posters/notices to pin boards, etc.
