Music Performance  

 Unit 2 Music Performance class were delighted to be able to perform for each other as part of this year’s Music Soiree. Although no external audiences were allowed to attend performances, they were able to view them online.

Instrumental lessons

After months of online lessons, students had returned to school only to be told that there was a ban on the use of woodwind and brass instruments and a ban on singing in schools.

Music students and staff were really excited to be able to have live, face to face music lessons once more from late October. However, they could only resume in person if conducted outside and socially distanced. 

When restrictions were eased further last week instrumental music lessons were allowed to be conducted indoors once more. Large groups are still not able to rehearse indoors, however things are slowly getting back to normal. In the meantime we have a beautiful learning space in the gardens.
