Child Safety

The Victorian Government is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. As part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to preventing and responding to child abuse in our community, there are compulsory Child Safe Standard for all Victorian early childhood services and schools, to ensure they are well prepared to protect children from abuse and neglect.

At Holy Family School the Child Safety Officer is Suzanne Deefholts.

Student Attendance

Parents are required to ensure their child attends Holy Family Primary School every day, during normal school hours of each term. Where their child is unable to attend school it is the parent’s responsibility to contact the school office on that day by 9 am to inform and provide the school with an explanation for their absence. The school is required by law to follow up any unexplained absences.
