Middle School Community

On Monday morning we welcomed our Year 9 and 10 students back to school after a well-deserved summer break. Amongst the scramble of locker allocations and the excitement of first lessons, we took a moment to appreciate the return to a sense of normality and the opportunity for a fresh start. It was wonderful to see plenty of students making the most of our newly re-painted downball courts, catching up with friends and swapping holiday stories.

There’s some extra buzz around Middle School in 2021 as we prepare for the ‘Start of Something New’. It’s time to ‘Get’cha Head in the Game’ as rehearsals begin for our upcoming Middle School Production of High School Musical. We are excited for our Year 9s and 10s to have their own moment in the spotlight, and have already witnessed some of the incredible talent on display at rehearsal. We can’t wait to see the final product up on stage in March!

For Year 9s, preparations are underway for our InterGREAT Camp at Phillip Island, coming up in Week 8. No doubt it will be a fantastic opportunity to spend some time together and make new friends. Medical forms have been distributed to students in InterGREAT this week, so we ask that these be returned to the Middle School office as soon as possible.

We wish everyone in our Middle School community a positive start to the year, and look forward to seeing your smiling faces around the yard.
