Facilities Report
January has once again been a time to get as much done as possible before the start of school. Here’s a list of a few key jobs completed over the holiday period
- Oval works-vertidrilling and fertilising. The oval is looking terrific and is a great asset for the College. Importantly, an annual budget ensures regular ongoing maintenance.
- Quadrangle line painting-downball will reach new levels of participation now that the lines are visible!
- Completion of Year 12 locker bay- an additional locker bay adjacent to the new Senior School will reduce the crowding in the VCE locker bay.
- Re-painting of lockers-a fresh lick of paint for our lockers!
- PAC-Amenities improvement-We continue to improve the condition of the PAC/Hall toilets.
- Building Project - the College is close to having all works completed on the Senior School. Last steps include Civil works (ie. Asphalting), Senior Locker bay works and defects
- Painting-portables, touch ups in RT and Junior School. An annual lick of paint ensures new buildings do not deteriorate
- Repairs to oval pump-faulty electrical connections interrupted our watering system. Fortunately, lots of rain saved the day and the system is now up and running
- Poetry boards-enjoy our new student poem
OH & S
- Fire services-all hydrants, fire hoses and extinguishers were checked over January
