P&F News
Welcome back everyone!
The P&F have lots of exciting events planned for this year. We are organising social events, fundraising events and some fun things for the kids! We would love your support throughout the year as our overall goal is to raise money for new playground equipment for our wonderful school. Read all about what is happening this term below!
Cheers & Tears...
On Thursday 28th January, the P&F hosted 'Cheers & Tears' for new prep parents. Champagne breakfast is the best way to begin the school year isn't it! It was such an amazing turn out with many families joining us for some nibbles, a chat and a laugh.
We welcome all the new families to our wonderful school!
Rainbow Run & Welcome BBQ...
This year, the old Colour Run has been re-vamped and has had a name change.
The Rainbow Run will be combined with a whole school Welcome BBQ on Friday 26th February. Come along to our first social fundraising event for the year! You can read about it below! Full details will also be posted in Compass and flyers will go home with the youngest member of each family. If you need more, please contact the office.
RAINBOW RUN DETAILS:
Details:
- The Rainbow Run will be held at 2.30pm – 3.30pm at school.
- School children will run in grade groups, guided by teachers.
- Families are welcome to come along and watch.
Clothing:
- Children can wear their Rainbow Run clothes to school that day.
- Children are encouraged to wear their own sunglasses or goggles.
Tickets:
- $10 each, includes a rainbow headband, provided on the day.
- Tickets must be pre-purchased.
The run:
- School children will run in their grade groups, assisted by teachers.
- Younger grades will be guided through a gentle course.
- There will be a teacher supervised area for children not participating.
WELCOME BBQ DETAILS:
Details:
- A whole school Welcome BBQ will then be held from 3:30pm-5pm.
- Families can mingle or set up a picnic.
BBQ:
- The BBQ will include sausages, soft drinks, juice, icy poles and other afternoon items for sale. Make sure to bring some money along!
- All money raised will go towards purchasing new playground equipment so we'd REALLY love your support :)
BYO:
- Other drinks, picnic rugs, chairs, nibbles.
Nice surprise:The amazing RHPS staff will also be there to say hello!
Stall holders...
The P&F are organising a Christmas Fete to be held in November, 2021. This is one of major fund raising events for the year.
We are taking expressions of interest for stall holders/vendors or entertainers for the day.
3mx3m stall will be $30
Double stall $50
Powered site $5 extra.

Upcoming events...
We are organising a ladies night out! This will be held on Saturday 27th March and will be at Brycee's Tavern in Mooroolbark. More details to come, but for now, pop the date in you're diary and hassle your school mum friends! It will be a fun night out!
