Green Team Educator - Viva Phetsvikio

Hello, I am Viva Phetsikhio. I am married with 2 children; a 12 year old son and a 10 year old daughter. I love my children so much! I really love my motherhood role and I am so grateful and thankful that God has given me this gift. I am so blessed that apart from becoming a mother raising my own children, I also play my role as an educator teaching, helping and supporting other children to learn and grow. 

Children are the gift from God and I believe that all children are unique and have their own special individual talents and skills. I also believe that the early years of children’s life are crucial for their development. The experiences children have in these years help shape the adults they will become in the future. So it is important that children are educated in a stimulating educational environment where they can grow confidently, physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. 

Green/Blue/Orange Educator - Karen Bloffwitch

Hello Curiosity Family and Friends!  My name is Karen Bloffwitch (known as Mrs B at Curiosity).  I am married with two daughters, Charlotte (11 years) and Amber (8 years). As a family we enjoy weekend getaways to the river - in summer, it's all about water and boat fun, and in winter it's all about sitting by the fire, toasting marshmallows, exploring nature and playing board games. I also love relaxing and catching up with friends - whether at home while the children swim and play, or at a local winery or cafe (brunch is always a favourite on the weekends! 

I look forward to welcoming our new and continuing children and families to Curiosity and partnering with you as we embark on your child's learning journey in 2021.

I believe that we all learn in different ways - for a child to direct their own learning with our support and guidance means they have the opportunity to learn in the best way... the best way for them.  Exploration and interaction create opportunities to discover in their own time, based on their own curiosities and mindset.  Together we will go on many adventures and grow our curious minds!

Green/Blue/Orange Team Educator - Veronica Martin

My name is Veronica Martin and I am excited to be part of the Curiosity team this year. I am looking forward to work with you and your child. 

I was born in Bandung, Indonesia. After spending my childhood in Jakarta, I moved to Adelaide, to continue my studies. I completed my degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of South Australia. I am a mum of three boys. 

I believe that all children are different and unique. They learn at different rates and have different learning styles. As an educator I believe that I need to create learning environments that can support them physically, mentally, emotionally and socially.

I also strongly believe that young children benefit from learning through play. Play based learning provides children with choices and through play I can incorporate learning in areas such as numeracy, literacy, art and science. It also gives children the opportunity to be creative and imaginative. It allows the children to be risk takers and problem solvers.
