VCE/VET/VCAL INFORMATION

Students,

Wellbeing

As mentioned, please remember there are numerous support networks and structures in place if you so require.  Wellbeing are working remotely however, can still make appointments.  If you would like to touch base please email wellbeing@sjcmda.vic.edu.au to make an appointment.   

Lunchtime Zoom 

Year 11 (Thursday) and Year 12 (Friday) will have received an outlook calendar invitation for a VCE lunchtime zoom meeting.  There is a lot happening currently and this meeeting will provide an opportunity to connect with your peers or myself,  attendance is optional however everyone is most welcome!

VTAC/SATAC

On Monday, Ms Fiona Dimasi, Careers Practitioner sent individual Year 12 students their VCAA identification student number.  This email has important information regarding timelines for your VTAC account setup if you are wanting to undertake tertiary study in 2021 or beyond. 

Last week was the final week of the VTAC/SATAC Zoom Workshops. Ms Dimasi has recorded presentations for students to access on the college webpage at https://www.sjcmda.vic.edu.au/curriculum/  

COVID-19 Category 4 SEAS

Year 12 students who are planning on applying to VTAC will receive an email with an attached survey regarding the impact of COVID-19.  Please ensure you complete this survey if you are intending to apply for tertiary studies in Victoria through VTAC. 

GAT

Students studying a Unit 3/4 sequence will be aware that the GAT has changed to October 7.  The library are able to provide past papers for students if they require, please email library@sjcmda.vic.edu.au   Additionally please see the attachment for ASHA lectures for GAT on Sunday August 30.
