Change to Reception Hours

Our Reception hours have changed for the duration of the Stage 4 lockdown period.

Reception will be open between the hours of 9.00am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.  If you need to contact us outside of these times, please leave us a message or send an email to office@bhcs.vic.edu.au, and one of our team will respond to you.

If returning a missed call, please remember to phone our main reception phone on 9754 6435.  Please don't press "redial" on the missed call - as you may not get through!  We look forward to speaking with you soon.

End of Term 3

We would like to remind families that the last day of Term 3 is Friday, 18th September. Classes will conclude at 1.30pm.  Any students on-site will need to be collected at this time.

Reception will be closed from 3pm on Friday, 18th September and will re-open at the beginning of Term 4 on Tuesday, 6th October

School Photo Day for 2020

School Photo Day for 2020 has now been cancelled. As you are aware, we had rescheduled for 1st September, 2020, however, with the unfortunate introduction of the Stage 4 restrictions, this date was also no longer possible. For a number of reasons, we will not be rebooking another date this year.

Any families who ordered their photos through SchoolPix earlier in March will receive a credit to their SchoolPix account, which they can then use for ordering their photos next year. SchoolPix do not hold any payment details on file.

Should you wish to obtain a refund, particularly in cases where this is your last year at BHCS, families will be required to contact SchoolPix directly by phone (1300 766 055) or email (help@schoolpix.com.au).

Family Trivia Night- Tonight

Let's get together for some fun!

Just in time for Fathers Day, Pulse wants to invite BHCS families to get together for a night of fun.  Hosted by Mr Dickson, there will be Trivia rounds to suit everyone in your household.

All you need to be prepared is one device ready to Zoom together as a household, and another device with the "Kahoot" app downloaded. (Note: You can play on as many individual devices as you like, or just one as a family!)

BHCS Coronavirus CARE (Crisis & Recovery Emergency) Fund - FEE Relief available

Over the last few months, BHCS has been providing fee relief to the families of approximately 70 students within our school community. That’s almost 10% of our student population.

The BHCS Leadership Team are acutely aware of the disruptive impact that recent events have had on so many within our community.

The CARE Fund has been designed to support those in our community whose household income has been detrimentally impacted as a direct result of COVID-19.

Should you find yourself in this situation, we welcome you to apply for the BHCS CARE Fund via this link:

https://tinyurl.com/BHCSCareFundApplication

To ensure that we are able to help as many as possible, we would ask that only those with genuine need apply.

The BHCS Community Support Fund - Are you able to help?

In addition to the BHCS Coronavirus CARE Fund, BHCS has also been providing reductions to some fees and levies. We have been contacted by a number of families who have asked to donate these reductions back to those in our school community who are in need.

This has prompted us to open the BHCS Community Support Fund to provide our community with the opportunity to support one another.

How can you contribute?

  • You can request that your fee credits be reversed and applied to the BHCS Community Support Fund.
  • You can make a one-off or recurring donation to the BHCS Community Support Fund by card payment over the phone or by bank transfer, as follows:

Belgrave Heights Christian School

BSB 633-000

Account No. 134663228

Reference: BCSF ‘YOUR SURNAME’

Please email lmiko@bhcs.vic.edu.au if you would like to be emailed a receipt.

All donations received will be applied directly to the fee relief being provided through the BHCS Coronavirus CARE Fund to support our struggling families.
