Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door I will come in.

Rev 3:20

Hi Everyone ,

Year 1/2 K have  been taking it in turns of sharing a prayer with their class each day.

I would like to share with you one of the prayers from this week

Dear God,

What a term it has been for us all! We have experienced another term apart physically but learning together online for nine whole weeks.

My prayer is one of thanks and we thank you for keeping us safe in our homes. We thank you for our teachers, doctors and all those who continue to work to protect us like the police and the army.

We also pray that after these school holidays, we can all gather together at St Bede's. Everyday we are reminded of how Jesus was a person who believed in your Spirit and taught us about loving and caring for one another.

I hope that this coronavirus passes by us quickly, so that we can be together as 1/2K ‘offline’ in our 1/2K classroom!

Please continue to watch over us and we hope that this Springtime brings us hope and new life - back at St Bedes.

Amen.

Year 1/2

This term the Year 1/2's have been learning about the narrative "Jonah and the Whale" found in the Hebrew Scripture. This story reminds us of the importance of listening to God and making good choices in our lives. Please find below some of the students creative recounts of the narrative, Jonah and the Whale.
