Autism Awareness Day

On Wednesday the 26th of August, the quad was decorated with blue balloons and colourful positive puzzle pieces to welcome Evans High School students to Autism Awareness Day. Students wore blue to raise awareness for Autism. There was also an Autism Awareness poster competition held by Ms Chalhoub in the library. Please see the Library News section for the winners.  

In period 4, all classes were shown a YouTube video about Autism. See below:

Students then had to participate in a Kahoot! quiz following the video. Students were able to gain valuable knowledge about Autism and become more aware of it. 

After the quiz, students were shown videos made by Evans High School's LAF students for the Focus on Ability's Short Film Festivals. Videos are attached below. Check them out!
