Classroom News - Year 4

Mrs Ross and Mr Norrie

Year 4 have just started a new and enjoyable math unit to finish Term 3 and will start Term 4 by finishing off the unit, investigating number patterns and a little taste of algebra!

Our Writing block has become intertwined with our Geography unit later in Term 3, with Year 4 writing an explanation about an animal that they have been researching from their selected environment which has been a research topic for the past few weeks. Throughout Week 10 Year 4 will be constructing a model of their selected animal to go along with their research and explanation.

Musica Viva was enjoyed by all of the Year 4 students, as we followed the story of Da Vinci's apprentice. Everyone was fixated by the music and acting from our fabulous presenters.

Thank you so much to Year 6 and their amazing teachers who put together a fantastic Asia Exhibit for their virtual Canberra excursion, Year 4 loved seeing a different culture and dressing up in some of the native dress seen throughout another continent .

We Made it! our first full term of 2020. Mrs Ross and Mr Norrie would like to thank all parents and caregivers of Year 4 students for all their efforts and help this term. We would also like to thank the Year 4 students for your hard work this term.
