Premier’s Reading Challenge …  Challenge

Last term,  with the help of their English teachers, we challenged the students in Years 7 to 9  to create a response to their favourite book. Their responses took many varied forms: a movie trailer,  a poem, a letter to the author, or any creative idea the student chose to follow. The quality of the responses to this activity was excellent, with a creative poem being a popular option for many of the students. Sally in  Year 7 submitted this poem about a book that she couldn’t put down. 

Some movie trailers have been submitted to a competition run by Clickview.  Well done to the students who participated in this activity.  Their knowledge of their favourite books was wonderful.
