Year 10 Photography and Film

Objects can hold within them vast journeys through the lives of many; Memories, milestones and meaning.  In Year 10, term 3 Photography students were asked to select objects that hold a story; a big story. Students explored that story and shared it with others. Whilst working remotely Students found objects, discovered stories, talked to community and family members, wrote the stories and then photographed the object to be presented with their stories.  Students discovered histories, understandings and how to portray these nostalgic objects in a photographic format. The task was almost like finding buried treasure; seeming everyday small objects carry with them Big stories.
