John XXIII Netball Club

It was a great start to the netball season with grading beginning last week for Years 7 – 10.

The weather was perfect and it was great to see all the girls. It is going to be hot this weekend so we have reduced some of the grading times, please check the schedule below.

Primary School 

Primary school registrations open next Friday 25 February and close on Friday 11 March 2022.

There are limited places available so please register as soon as possible.

An email will be sent home via John XXIII College with a lot on information, please read it carefully.

 

There is a new registration system this year implemented by Netball Australia.

 

Year 5’s that want to play on Friday nights will need to register in the Year 4 NetSetGo competition.

Grading

Please note the change in times.

 

Saturday 19 February

  • 7:30am – 8:30am YEAR 8
  • 8:30am – 9:30am YEAR 7
  • 9:30am – 10:30am YEAR 9

Sunday 20 February

  • 7:30am – 8:45am Year 10
  • 9:00am – 10:30am – Years 11 & 12

Further information

  • Grading is on the netball courts next to the Year 7 (E) block
  • JTC Sports uniform is to be worn
  • Jewellery is not permitted and should be removed before you arrive
  • Nails are to be short and smooth
  • Bring a water bottle as games cannot wait while you are getting a drink and you may miss your time on court.
  • If you cannot attend please let me know as soon as possible. 

Jewellery 

Please tape jewellery before you arrive. Once competition begins jewellery must be removed, it is not allowed to be taped and players will be asked to leave the court.

Fitness Training

Please note that Fitness Training is cancelled.  

Umpires

If you have done your PNA Umpire course and would like to umpire for JTC Netball Club please email us at johnxxiiicnc.umpire@gmail.com.

Uniforms

  • Years 2 & 3 wear their JTC Sports Uniform
  • Years 4  - 12 wear the JTC Netball dress which is available at the Uniform Shop.
  • Please get your dress organised as soon as possible as they don’t hold a lot of stock and it may need to be ordered. As they come from NSW there could be a delay.
  • Netball knickers are available from the uniform shop, they are also available from most retailers that sell school uniforms. Knickers must be navy blue or the Club blue and gold.
