Principal’s Message

Mrs Kath Baird

Dear Parents and Carers,

The lovely start to our term has continued during the past week to include many exciting events.

The swimming carnival was a great success and it was very encouraging to see all students participate in the carnival events. This level of participation is very important to assist students is developing their sense of belonging to a team and also the contribution of that team to our school community. Thank you to Mrs Goddard, Ms Traynor and our volunteers for their organisation and helping out on the day to ensure our carnival could go ahead in a COVID safe manner. Your time is greatly appreciated. Congratulations to those students who will now move on to represent our school at the Diocesan Swimming carnival next week.

Students have also participated in the nomination and voting process for our Student Representative Council for 2022. One student from each stage has been elected and will receive their badges on Wednesday 16 February at our Induction Mass.  The Induction Mass will commence at 12:30 pm and will be broadcast via Zoom.

Confirmation for our Year 6 students is coming up in March. Key dates have been added to the calendar for forward planning, to assist in the preparation of your child for this sacred sacrament.

A special mention to Indianah who turns 5 years old on Wednesday 16th February. We hope you have a fantastic day!

As the term continues please remember that if you have any concerns, queries or questions don't hesitate to make contact with us and we can help you out. Our mission is to ensure that we can support students to feel safe, valued, cared for and respected so they can continue to be happy and engaged learners.

Take care

Kath Baird
