Visual Art

It has been wonderful to see all the students from Prep to Grade 6 in the Art room this year. They have been busy creating self-portraits as part of the Young Archibald competition and we can’t wait to see all the finished artworks. 

As you are aware at BBPS we have an Art Show biannually and a School Production in the alternate year, which we are lucky enough to experience this year! Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we were unable to host our ‘Bright World of Art’ Art Show last year and were really hoping to do so this term in Week 6. The students have been so patient, with us holding onto all their beautiful art pieces, and due to the current restrictions we feel like it is now time for the students to share the wonderful artwork that they completed last year at home with their families. Some of the artwork has already been sent home, with more coming home in the coming weeks. 

We would like to thank all the students and community for their ongoing support and understanding with this and we hope you enjoy discussing with your child/ren and celebrating the wonderful effort that went into creating these artworks.
