Introducing our School Captains for 2022
School Captains
Hello,
My name is Advika and I am your 2022 school captain along with Ziyad! I am honoured and happy to be School Captain because I have always wanted to give back to SSPS, for providing me a joyful nurturing environment all the way from prep (foundation) till now. Along with the other school leaders, I will do my best to assist the Principal and staff in making this a great year for all of us.
If I have to say something about me, the first thing is that I am sporty and love sports. I play tennis and one of my favourite things to do is running. Other activities which I enjoy doing are dancing, baking, drawing, reading, chatting with friends and maybe watching a little bit of TV too (!) 😊.
My birth country is India and I love to go there whenever possible to see my extended family. At home in Melbourne, I love spending time with my mum and dad, and I really appreciate everything they have done to encourage me.
I am a kind, considerate, responsible, positive and funny person. I would like to give back and help all students feel the same way as I do at SSPS. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to come and talk to me at any time. We shall figure out solutions together!

Hi! My name is Ziyad, one of your 2022 school captains, along with Advika. I am in 6S and have Ms Stockdale as my teacher.
I like to do sports, like soccer and basketball, and listen to music. I am very eager to be a school captain this year, and am ready to take on the responsibilities with my fellow captains and classmates. I adore working with the other people in this school, including students and teachers. I can’t wait to see what this year holds for me. BEE AMAZING!
Vice School Captains
Hey everyone! I’m Jonah and I’m one of your school vice captains this year!
To be honest I was a little surprised when I found out I was vice captain, but I will strive to do my best helping this school!
Now Some Stuff About Myself! I like art, especially drawing! Anytime I have some strange and/or random thoughts, I tend to just blurt them out onto a piece of paper. I have TONS of random pictures made that way! Just a pencil, a piece of paper and a rubber is all I need to start drawing! I’ve made lots of pieces of art (that in my opinion are pretty good) and I always try to go for a few (un)specific styles, and they mostly look ok.
My Family! I have 6 other family members including my dog Moses, my Mum and Dad, my two brothers, and my sister. We all love to go camping, and to be honest it doesn’t always go too well! But from roasting marshmallows to doing water sports it’s always fun!

Hello everyone! My name is Oneli and I am your new 2022 school vice captain. I am so excited to take part in this role and I will make sure to do my best. Here are some fun facts to get to know me!
I am eleven years old, turning twelve this year. My birthday is on August the 13th. I have a dog named Mindy and I have four cousins.
One of my favourite hobbies is to draw in my sketchbook. I love to draw in it because I know it doesn’t need to look perfect and even if it’s messy it will still look good. I also like to write stories about mythical creatures and interesting story lines. I like to play roblox from time to time with my cousin.
When I grow up I wish to be a lawyer because the job includes a lot of reading and writing! I also like to read books, like fantasy or historical. (I enjoy chapter books). My favorite sports are tennis, basketball and badminton.
