Primary Sub School News

It is an absolute pleasure to be the Primary Sub School Leader at JSA! My name is Rachael Macmillan, and I have been the Primary Sub School Leader since Term 3 2021.
I began teaching in Mainstream education in 1998. Years later, I developed a passion for Special Education. I have been a teacher at JSA in the Primary Sub School since 2018. Last year, I was teaching in Room 5 before being fortunate enough to take on this new role. I love reading, relaxing and most of all, spending time with my family. I am enthused about the year ahead and I am looking forward to seeing our students engage and learn while having fun!
The Primary students have settled back into a new year and have been enjoying getting to know some new faces. We have also welcomed our new Prep students to school! The sandpit, toys, and bubbles have been some of my favourite activities. It is a busy term for the preps as they adjust to being at school and learning new routines.
SPARE CLOTHES: A reminder to all Primary families to please ensure that there is a spare pair of clothes in your child’s bag at all times. Also, if families have any spare school pants or shorts (any colour) in sizes 5-12 to donate it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Primary Sub School Stars of the Week!
As we have only just begun our school year, ALL of the Primary sub school are superstars! You have all either begun your schooling or returned to school with enthusiasm and excitment! Well done
