Years 7 & 8
The Academy would like to recognise two of our Year 7 students who have achieved excellence in their field.
Keziah Binnie and Holly Thornton from 7 Blue have been selected to represent Victoria for Acrobatic Gymnastics, at the Australian Championships next week in Queensland. Keziah and Holly have been training incredibly hard for this opportunity. Practicing 18 hours per week with Team Adrenalin in their elite squad.
From all of us as The Academy, we would like to wish both Keziah and Holly good luck for their upcoming competition.

Year 7 & 9 students will be participating in NAPLAN this term. The National Assessment Program for Literacy and Numeracy will be conducted in Week 3 of Term 2 during class time. Students undertake four online tests that provide a snapshot of their reading, writing, language and numeracy skills at this point in time and results become available to families in September of this year. The NAPLAN testing is but one piece of information about your daughter’s learning journey and we encourage students to undertake this testing in a positive and purposeful way.
A reminder that Homework Club for Years 7 & 8 will run again this term every Monday and Wednesday after school in the MRC. Please do encourage your daughters to make use of this opportunity, particularly if they need support.
