THE TERM AHEAD

Welcome back to Term 2. I hope that you and your families enjoyed a restful and joyful Easter period.

Parent Teacher Interviews

As you are aware, the next Parent Teacher Interviews are scheduled for

12 May:  4.00pm – 8.30pm

These interviews will be held online and bookings can be made via the PAM Portal. Last week an email with instructions was sent out to all families.  In the event that you are still having trouble accessing interviews through the portal, do not hesitate to contact our IT helpdesk.

The change to online interviews has meant more families booking interviews than ever. Unfortunately, this sometimes means that families cannot book in to see a teacher who is already fully booked. In the event that this is the case, please do not hesitate to email the relevant teacher for an update.

Year 7 & 8 Homework Club

A reminder that Homework Club for Years 7 & 8 will run again this term every Monday and Wednesday after school in the MRC. Please do encourage your daughters to make use of this opportunity, particularly if they need support.

NAPLAN

Year 7 & 9 students will be participating in NAPLAN this term.  The National Assessment Program for Literacy and Numeracy will be conducted in Week 3 of Term 2 during class time.  Students undertake four online tests that provide a snapshot of their reading, writing, language and numeracy skills at this point in time and results become available to families in September of this year.  The NAPLAN testing is but one piece of information about your daughter’s learning journey and we encourage students to undertake this testing in a positive and purposeful way.

The Term Ahead

The term ahead is a busy one, with many learning opportunities for students both in and out of the classroom.

I look forward to working with you and your daughters this term.
