Elio Guarnuccio is the father of Ananda who is a Year 8 student. He is the Director of CIS - Centre of Italian Studies and the CEO of Lingopont, an educational publishing company specialising in the teaching of languages.

Karen Dabbs
Tony and I have two daughters - Elise in Year 9 and Stephanie in Year 11. I am keen to get to know the parents of the other Year 9 girls better, given we really didn't get the chance to get to meet up and get to know each other when they were in Years 7 & 8. I love sports (both participating & watching!), music and crime/mystery novels. I work for Telstra and own a horse, which involves a long drive to see him as unfortunately he won't fit in our inner suburban back garden. Georgie Accetta
Hi, my name is Georgie Accetta and I am the Year 10 Academy parent representative. I am also a member of the Academy Parents’ Association and my daughter Zoe is currently in Year 10. I am a Director in Tax Advisory at Pitcher Partners and in my spare time love being with family and friends, going for walks and dining out. Rose Palmer
Mum to Maddy Palmer in 11 Green. Since Maddy started at AMI I have been part of the Parents’ Association and I would like to say it has been a worthwhile and enjoyable way to spend time. Sr Mary, Paul Finneran and now Sam have been and continue to be genuine in seeking feedback and ideas for continues improvement from parents/carers. When the idea of having a parent contact for each year level was suggested I put my hand up to be a contact for the Year 11 parents. I am someone who enjoys connecting people, sharing information and problem solving. I believe the College does a great job disseminating information to the parent community, and am happy to support the College in trailing this initiative. Outside of working in the health sector some of my interests are surfing, reading crime novels, playing a drum kit and gardening.

Nancy Cover
Hi my name is Nancy Cover and I have two girls at the Academy, Claudia in Year 12 and Liv in Year 10. I have been an active parent at the school and have been part of the Parents’ Association group since 2017. Being part of this group has allowed me to voice my opinion, meet other parents from different year levels and have a better understanding of what goes on within the school environment.
