Debating Team 

On Thursday 12th May the Year 9 Debating team participated in our second debate for the year. Japmann Kaur Mann, Aribah Kamal and Victoria Liew took on the speaking roles in this debate and did a spectacular job! They each spoke with confidence and passion on the affirmative side of the topic, That the Australian citizenship test should be banned. Despite the team’s exceptional efforts the debate was awarded to the opposing team. This loss has only made the team more determined to implement the feedback they received and win the next debate! This week the team will resume with our regular meetings and begin preparation for the next debate on 2nd June.
