Year 7 Camp

YR7 CAMP 2022 WRITTEN BY EMMERSYN CURNOW 7E AND TIARNA GURURE 7J 

Hi all. Year 7 camp was incredible. Below are snapshots from some of our students who attended. 

I really liked the canoeing. Ramming boats and having a great time in the water. The raft building was also awesome even though we got absolutely drenched. Sebastian Pike 7B 

Camp was better than I expected… Making new friends and showing team work was huge highlight for me and skateboarding was my favourite activity.         Alessia 7E 

My experience at Anglesea camp was fun. I got to meet a lot of new people. My favourite activity was skateboarding and learning new tricks.      Noah 7J 

My experience at Anglesea camp was exciting. There were so many activities. My favourite was skateboarding.       Tyson 7J 

Camp was better than I thought. One of my highlights was hitting the teacher with a fake bat. My favourite activity was crate climbing.    Teianah 7J 

My highlights were canoeing and the vertical challenge. Canoeing was a fun experience and very interesting because I got to see a canoe fall in.     Ally 7G 

My experience at Anglesea camp was loud. Everyone sang their lungs out. It was very busy settling in. My favourite activities were the beach carnival night walk.    Nathanial 7J 

Camp was decent and wonderfully fun and was amazingly interesting.     Jack 7B 

Camp was alright. I liked the epic vertical climb and raft building but I didn’t really like the food, it was alright.      Jez 7B 

Camp was an amazing experience because of the fantastic activities like skateboarding but the food was not that enjoyable and I love to sleep.      Aaron 7J 

My experience at Anglesea camp was super fun, we got to stay up so late and bond with each other. I enjoyed camp and would like to go again.    Logan 7F 

One of my highlights was canoeing and capsizing and it was really funny when people fell in. My second highlight was skateboarding. I learnt so many new things.    Caleb 7C

Camp was great we had so many fun activities. My favourite was canoeing. It was scary because it was my first time.  The food was really good I really liked the pasta.  Farzaan 7I 

My experience at Anglesea camp was an unusual but very enjoyable experience. My favourite activity was the tug of war on the last day of camp. My team won.       Elvis 7H 

Camp was outstanding, my favourite activity was vertical challenge and raft building. We swan across the river to the other side and I got up to the top of the vertical challenge twice. We learnt about team work and listening to each other. Emmy 7E and Tiarna 7J  

A very special thanks to all of you for allowing your wonderful children to attend  what was a truly spectacular experience. Thanks also to your children for being so well behaved.  We all had a super fun time.
