Things to do
Lunchtimes in the ORC
Please note that the existing arrangements in regards to ORC use at lunchtime will continue:
Monday – Year 11/12
Tuesday – Year 7
Wednesday – Year 8
Thursday – Year 9
Friday – Year 10
The ORC is for students who are playing basketball or table tennis and not for spectators.
Immunisations (Year 7 & 10)
The following updates have been made to the school-based immunisation programs:
- Year 10: Friday, 20 May 2022 for the immunisation against Meningoccal ACWY.
- Year 7: Wednesday, 9 November 2022 (HPV - second round)
Further details will be sent out closer to the dates and parents will be informed of changes to to the dates.

Knitting Club
Now that the cooler weather is here, it's time for some indoor activities such as Knitting Club and Chess Club. The Knitting Club is making squares, which will be made into blankets for the children at the Smile Foundation in Indonesia. If you would like to help us out and knit or crochet some squares from home please email Ms Kyd for specifications on mkyd@norbert.wa.edu.au
Free STEM course
Following successful programs held in the previous school holidays, we are pleased to announce the ECU School of Engineering STEM School Holiday Program – CREATE will be offered in July 2022 . The one day workshops will be held on 5, 6, 7, 11 & 12 July 2022. This program is offered at no cost to participating students.
CREATE is designed to support the teaching and learning of STEM subjects for students interested in STEM studies, and is suitable for students who will be enrolled in Years 9 to 12 in 2022.
Enclosed is a flyer outlining the program details along with the link to Trybooking. We kindly request you pass this to parents and/or students who will find this program beneficial. Places are still available and registration closes on 27 June 2022

Basketball Scholarships
Blessed Hugh of Fosse Basketball Scholarships are available for students entering Years 8 to 12. The scholarships cover 50 per cent of College tuition fees and are subject to commendable progress in all areas of College life.
Applications are open until 10 June, 2022.

Hop into hockey
Canning Districts Hockey Club is looking for players for its new Goldstix program, which commenced on 4 May. Registrations are still open. See attached flyer for further information.
