News from Emmanuel College
"We would like to wish all Year 12 students the best of luck in their exams commencing this week. This is an important part on the pathways that come next for students and as the adults in their life we should all be encouraging them to strive for personal bests. People cannot be asked for more than delivering the best they can and we will be proud of all students and their achievements no matter the outcome.
As one group are coming to the end of their time at the College, there is another group who are planning for their start here. We had a great Parent Information Night last week, with many excited young people coming along and preparing for life at Emmanuel. The next transition event for students is the Orientation Morning on Tuesday 29 November. Keep a look out for emails about that event.
Last Friday, we distributed offers of enrolment for students due to commence in Year 7, 2024. A reminder that the closing date for acceptance of these offers is Friday 11 November, 2022. We have a substantial waiting list at each campus and will make second round offers in the event that a family don’t take up their offer.
Our next College experience opportunity is the Twilight Talk & Tour event being held at each campus. Registrations are essential for the events and can be made via the Tours and Events tab on the right-hand side of the homepage of the College website, www.ecmelb.catholic.edu.au

Hawks Softball Club
Hawks Fastpitch Softball Club in Werribee will be launching a Junior Softball Competition beginning this Saturday 22 October, following on from their successful Home Run Heroes program. They are hoping to recruit some more players to be able to field a few more teams.

Show your support for a state-of-the-art Aquatic and Early Years Centre at Bruce Comben Reserve in Altona Meadows. The proposed centre will include a 25m lap pool; learn to swim, toddler and water therapy pools; gymnasium and program rooms; early years centre and maternal child health service; and cafe. The Australian Girls Choir
The Australian Girls Choir is holding Open Days this November and would like to invite girls to come along.
Look no further than the Australian Girls Choir (AGC) because we encourage, challenge and inspire girls as they learn to sing, dance and perform.
