Grandparents' Day Celebration!

On Friday 28th October, we welcomed the Yr 3/4 grandparents and 'special people' into our learning spaces.

Grandparent's Day is a special day to celebrate the bond between grandparents and grandchildren.

The students loved having their grandparents visit them at school, and enjoyed completing a number of activities together, including drawing portraits of each other, playing board games and participating in Kahoot challenges!

Thank you to all of the grandparents and 'special people' for coming along!

Reading

Students have been completing a range of independent tasks in reading and have been showing their knowledge and skills in a range of areas. They have been learning to identify the author's message in different fiction texts and understand what they can learn from the moral of the story.

Students have also been completing independent Italian tasks to consolidate their written and oral language skills. This week's task involved making quiz cards for their very own Italian game show.

Here are some examples of their work.
