Melbourne Museum Excursion

On Monday, there was excitement in the air as the Year 1/2 students attended an excursion to the Melbourne Museum as part of our inquiry unit on 'History'. The students explored many exhibits such as the First Peoples exhibit, Melbourne Story, the Forest Gallery, Bugs Alive, the Triceratops exhibit and the Dinosaur Walk. It was a great day out!

Walking in Gagudju Country

Last week, the students explored the book 'Walking in Gagudju Country' by Diane Lucas, Ben Tyler and Emma Long. One of the activities was to sit outside and use our senses to notice what we see, feel and hear. There was a great sense of calm as the students engaged in Country.

Grandparents Day

On Friday 28th October, the students welcomed their grandparents and special people into our classrooms to celebrate Grandparents Day. The students thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning with their loved ones. The students interviewed their grandparents, played card games, drew portraits of each other, and completed other activities such as word searches, card making and played memory. Thank you to our grandparents and special people for joining us!
