Thank you Leah

Having had the privilege of witnessing Leah Percy on the netball court, as well as watching her coach from the sidelines, I can report to Cheltenham Secondary College that our Netball Academy is in the safest of hands. 

Leah has the talent, of that there is no question, but she also has the ability to drive a positive influence right through the team and make them want to play better netball and be better people. Thank you Leah for spending your valuable time with our Netball Academy Team and thank you for putting this video together, for the girls to reflect on their year. We look forward to seeing you again in 2023.

Congratulations Eliza

Congratulations to Eliza West, a 2022 premiership player for the Melbourne AFLW team. 

As Cheltenham Basketball Academy Coach we thank Eliza for her time with us. Eliza has worked hard all season on and off the field. Proving to our Academy students that hard work and 110% effort will bring rewards. We look forward to her return in 2023.

Sports Academy 2023

As we are heading to the end of the year, we look towards our Sports Academies for 2023. Communication has been shared with our incoming Year 7 cohort and we welcome our new and existing families to make any inquiries to har@cheltsec.vic.edu.au. 

Any age group or gender is welcome to form an academy team. Our academy group does not require a selection or tryout process, we will work to facilitate any team or competition. Our aim is to create as many opportunities as possible, for students to engage with like-minded peers. 

We are looking to include Soccer or Futsal into our Academy group and will be announcing some trial sessions in Term 1.

Current students and incoming Year 7 students are invited to complete this Sports Academy Expression of Interest form.
