It's great to be back!
It is wonderful to see the children back at school after such a stressful week for everyone in the flood affected areas. The response from the Mooroopna community has been amazing with the assistance given and support offered. This week we delivered hampers to all of our flood affected families. I would be lying if I said these families are doing well, it has been such an emotional time for them all. I have assured all families that we will continue to assist them with whatever they need.
Lunch Donations

There are many avenues of financial and other relief for flood affected families:
Safety Inspections
Thankfully all safety inspections were given the tick of approval this week. We will be monitoring water underneath buildings to ensure everything is drying out appropriately. and keeping the children off the oval while it is so wet. Other than that, school is back to normal.

School Open Monday
Please note that the pupil free day for Monday 31st October is cancelled. All classrooms will be running as normal. We will however be closed for the Melbourne Cup public holiday on Tuesday.
No Grandparent's Day
Apologies for the misunderstanding, but Grandparent's Day advertised for Friday 28th October is not going ahead.
Prep Transition
Due to the flood our first Prep transition session had to be cancelled. We look forward to welcoming our 2023 Preps to school next Wednesday 2nd November. Please contact the office if you are unsure of groups and times.

Many of our students attend lunchtime clubs which run each day at School.

A friend designed an invisible airplane. I can't see it taking off.
I jammed my finger in the door the other day so I asked the doctor could I write with it. He said "maybe, but I wouldn't count on it!"
