Regional Golf Tournament

Congratulations to our students who competed in the SSV Primary Schools Golf Tournament last Thursday at the Curlewis Golf Course. The results were as follows: Taj Shaw 10th, Finley Geary 11th, Archie Martin 15th and Charlie Gardiner 16th. This was a fantastic achievement on a tough course in difficult weather conditions.

Foundation to 4 Activity Day

This Friday 18th November our students from Foundation to Year 4 will participate in the Activity Day, parents and carers are welcome to join us. The day consists of the different year levels travelling to the following schools to participate in a variety of fun games. It will begin at 9.30am and finish at 11.30am.

The schools hosting the each year level are:

Foundation - Colac West PS

Year 1 - Elliminyt PS

Year 2 - St Mary's PS

Year 3 - Colac South West PS

Year 4 - Sacred Heart PS

All children need to wear their sports uniform and their school hats. Children will travel to their designated school by bus. The Year 1 students will walk to Elliminyt Primary School.

All children will need to have a drink bottle, piece of fruit and a snack to take to the school where they will be participating in a variety of sporting activities.

Our Year 6 children will also need to wear their sports uniform because they will be in charge of the Year 4 Activity day at Sacred Heart. Each Year 6 child has a sporting activity to supervise and co-ordinate on the day.

Respect Cup Netball

On Thursday 1st December, some of our Year 5 girls have been selected to represent Sacred Heart at the Barwon Health Respect Cup. This is a new initiative that will teach the students not only the skills of netball, but other life skills. This will take place at the Colac Football Club. More information will be sent to parents via PAM. Students will need to wear their sports uniform and school hat on this day.
